My name is Ocean Kaliananda
Ocean is my birth name, Kaliananda was given to me in a spiritual community when I was 8 – and in many ways it reflects my path. My life has been a long initiation in learning how to hold darkness and light, death and life, and how to master the arts of preservation, veneration, and alchemy – the art of transforming lead into gold, challenge into power, fear into love, and pain into wisdom.
I see myself as a bridge – between the old and the new, the past and the future, the mystical and the practical – tending to the thresholds we are crossing individually and collectively. Old structures of fear, survival and separation are dissolving, and a new frequency of sovereignty and loving presence is emerging. My work supports this transition – through devotion, practice, embodiment, and community.
This work spans across the full spectrum of human and spiritual experience. From ancestral healing and golden shadow work to frequency harmonizing, light-body activation and the remembrance of our luminosity. And in between – life, in all of its complexity. All of it lives within one continuous field: moving from lineage to legacy.
Working with roots as well as stars – with what shaped us and what we are here to build – I support both individuals and communities in navigating uncertainty and change with awareness, reverence for what has been and trust in what is becoming. Through anchoring a golden frequency, I facilitate coherence and alignment – and a deep sense of empowerment and agency.
As a spiritual mentor, teacher, and guide, I source from a life rich with experience, having moved through deep initiations, thresholds, diverse relationships, countries, communities, circles, jobs, and countless inner and outer journeys. Each experience continues to teach me, and invites me deeper – into the heart, into the center, into the power within.
As a luminary soul, the orientation of this work is about co-creating the golden future now – at heart, I am still a traveler and a dancer, a mystic and a poet, and as such I invite you to both: a spiritual quest to activate your power now, and a sacred dance to meet the divine in it all.

As a Mentor & Guide
I walk beside those who are ready to transform their lives – offering guidance, reflection, energetic transmission and embodied practice. Through 1:1 and group mentorship journeys, I accompany the reclamation of sovereignty, purpose, and inner truth.
As a Speaker, Writer & Storyteller
I share teachings, experiences, and contemplations through workshops, essays and talks – living wisdom transmissions that translate the unseen into grounded, practical experiences. A lot of this work happens “on the road”.
As a Ceremonialist & Threshold Guide
I hold sacred space for transformation and remembrance through ritual, sound, and ceremony. Annually, I guide a meditative Shamanic journey From Darkness To Light: Ancestral Veneration – an intentional threshold crossing. Plant allies, particularly Rose, support this work.
As a Yoga & Meditation Teacher
With trainings in Yin Yang Yoga and Tantra Yoga, I shared Chakra Yoga for a couple of years. Now, I offer distinct classes that blend somatic practice, energy work, and invocation, as well as Yoga Ceremonies: intentional journeys designed to harmonize mind, body, heart, and soul through Praṇayama, Asanas, Kriyas, Invocation, Meditation, and Essential Oils.
As a Community Architect
Based on rich observations from my online and in-person community work and life, I offer orientation, practices, and vision alignment for leaders who seek to create more coherence and anchor a higher frequency in their field. Through archetypal explorations, I support individuals and groups in finding deeper meaning within their roles, creating a deeper sense of belonging and reciprocal nourishment.
As a Quantum Mentor
I support those who are ready to experience a quantum shift and embody a higher vibrational state of being in the eternal now. As a Gene Keys-Guide in training, I offer insights into the wisdom within our unique genetic blueprint and the powerful technique of contemplation.

On A Journey · From Darkness To Light
First experiences of community, cross-cultural collaboration & spiritual awakening
My community work began in high school, when I independently organized my participation in intercultural work camps abroad during Summer holidays. Two years in a row I spent several weeks in Russia and South Korea, exploring the topic of “Which world do we want to live in tomorrow?” in collaborative teams and through co-creation with the locals.
After high school, I was solo backpacking Australia and South East Asia for 1.5 years – deepening my passion for intercultural experiences, trusting strangers (lots of hitchhiking and couch surfing with locals), and exploring different ways of life. In Australia I experienced my first Vipassana, and it was in Cambodia that I practiced Yoga for the first time. A one-week Yoga and meditation retreat (vegan, strictly sober, satsang-focused) lead me to my first visionary meditation experience – an epiphany on the interconnection of life and death, and my first experience of the power of mind.
Entering The Professional World
When I returned to Germany after my travels, I went through a long dark night of soul – and university. While public relations and communications was my major, I focused my studies on political communication and sociology: governance systems, open source ethics, macro level dynamics, social justice movements, the construction of reality through language, and the collective shadow in the world (from late state capitalism, global north/south dynamics, propaganda and green washing, to surveillance and control systems, and more).
When I emerged, I entered the professional world first as a project manager & copywriter in a Web & Software development agency – learning basic coding – then became community, campus & event manager in a start up coding school. I created my first “mentorship program” when I established a “student onboarding journey” in which I shared talks and workshops on The Pillars Of Success, The Pillars Of Wellbeing, The Growth-Mindset, The Power Of Community, and more, while also hosting all kinds of circles, q&as, and hybrid events in front of > 150 people.
Embarking On The Pathless Path
One day – I had felt it coming through dreams and visions – I quit my apartment, left Germany, and without any safety nets entered the current of life. […]
Since then, I have gone through several deep cycles of transformation and metamorphosis that have seen me rapidly and totally change every aspect of my life: sacred work, relationship, health, family, home, foundations…
Along the path, I have been blessed to meet great teachers, mentors, and guides – the greatest teachers being my parents and life – and great students as I began sharing the practices, the insights, the wisdom, and the magic with others. Living semi-nomadically for some years, it was on the roads of the world (esp. Ibiza, Guatemala, Costa Rica) that I have studied, practiced, taught and shared Yoga, workshops on embodying higher consciousness, holistic retreats, and beautiful ceremonies with others, and explored various forms of community.
Today
I’ve walked through periods of personal collapse, extreme survival stress, and profound recalibration – experiences that have literally stripped away everything (to my last cent and even my only backpack, haha!) and demanded total embodiment rather than theory. I have not only healed intense personal and trans-generational trauma and transmuted ancestral karma, but come to harmonize the experiences by changing my attitude and my stance and discovering the inherent gold in them.
I have built a deeply loving home within myself, I am intimately connected with the divine, and from this place, I share and guide others.
My life is devoted to elevating the human experience through the expansion of consciousness and the embodiment of love. My work is dedicated to the empowerment of individuals on the journey of embodied awakening, as well as communities that are ready to experience a new form of collaboration and co-creating. I am passionate about creating spaces that foster heart-to-heart connection, growth and celebration – in community, in ceremony, and in everyday life.
I draw from Tantric, Yogic and Taoist lineages, Quantum Energetics, and Shamanism, weaving in the Gene Keys, evolutionary astrology, dream, womb, and mirror work, and Sacred Plant Allies. Having studied the language of the universe, I am passionate about the subtle geometries of our lives. Sacred Names, Sacred Numbers, Sacred Patterns – they all hold power. As do our stories – hence a key aspect of my work focuses on reclaiming story as an integral part of our power.
As I move through life, my life’s work is an ever-evolving synthesis of lived experiences, spiritual revelations, deep practice and expanding studies. The alchemy of experience is the foundation of my work – I am forever learning, reflecting, refining, releasing, growing and evolving, and deeply grateful for it all.
Through it all, I have come to realize something very simple: The spiritual journey really is the journey into the heart of existence; and when we truly open our heart to love – everything changes.

As a guide and mentor, I support you, challenge you, encourage you, and offer you perspective. I walk beside you and reflect your light and your shadows with clarity and compassion. And while ceremony supports us in inviting more presence, more awareness, and more intention into the experience, the higher principles of Yoga invite us home into our center.

A Golden Vision
We are moving through a time of great change – humanity is experiencing a quantum shift in consciousness. The Earth is rebirthing herself from the inside out. Humanity itself is changing as our DNA begins to mutate and evolve into the next stage of our becoming.
We all feel it on some level, individually and collectively. And while destruction and death ask us to face grief and uncertainty as the old is falling away – and require deeply regulated nervous systems that enable us to remain steady and stable amidst the changes – there is also a very different current of energy sweeping across the planet –
I call it The Golden Current and The Golden Wave, the rise of solar or golden consciousness.
I see it as an inner sun rise – powerful, electrifying, uplifting energy – that feels like all the cells in the body are dancing. It is the heart opening fully and spreading its wings, and its power is transforming us from the inside out.
The Golden Wave feels like a wave of love that flows beneath the waves of grief – light and dark intimately dancing with each other – as the collective experiences the great awakening that is restoring the heart of humanity again, one by one.
As more and more inner suns rise and hearts awaken – luminaries – humanity begins to shine from within. The light body activates as we remember our true power, embody higher principles of being and collectively return to harmony, and begin to see the flowering of a golden new humanity.
